Marketing – Offensive?!

Ok, here we go again with the Memebox Diet Box.

I just received an promotional email from Memebox, and I'm sure you received the same email, but the first thing I noticed was the highlighted wording at the top.

Yea... that's right - "YOU NEED THIS" ...

Ummmm I know Memebox was founded in a different country, and some marketing ideas may not suite certain countries, but this is a woman's world, let's face it, and  we are the #1 consumers across the world, how can you make such a LARGE mistake with marketing like this? Yea, I know it's just a box with products, but it's so much bigger than that. Telling a woman YOU NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT, is not healthy, and it just supports the insecurities that woman HAVE to face everyday to look perfect , having to look beautiful and skinny all the time as well. This completely turns me off, and I think EVERY woman who buy's from Memebox, deserves an apology!
