My first impression of June 2014's Ipsy Bag, I'm pretty excited. I was hoping for the mauve NYX lip gloss but that's ok, but I got the green eyeliner instead of the blue which I'm really happy about :) Blue does not go well with my skin tone.
 So overall very very pleased with this month!!


Here's what I received.


Nicka K New York 
Shimmer Eyeliner  - Green

I'm in love with this color! Its the perfect green for light green eyes, and it has a bit of shimmer in it, with a nice fine tipped brush.

It glides on smooth, and it dries very quick, and it takes a bit too come off, so if your worried about it running, it wont be a problem!

NYX Butter Gloss - Eclair

I really enjoy NYX lip glosses, this color does not really suite me and I was really hoping for the Crème Brulee color :( oh well at least there not expensive.

Its very a light pink, you would need to apply a good amount for the color to show up.

Dream Waves Beach Spray

 

Eat your heart out Victoria's Secret! - Seriously have you ever seen those VS model hair on the beach?!!! I want hair like that lol,but come on, thats never going to happen because I don't have a hair crew of 14 and makeup crew of 20 and 100,000$ lighting to make me look that good.

Oh well, guess this bottle will have to do! - It smells AMAZING!  I will update my review on this after Ive tested it out

DD Cream 
Dermatologically Defining BB Cream With SPF 30

I never like receiving BB creams or foundation samples in sub boxes due to the colors I usually receive. I have a hard time in store's getting the perfect BB cream and foundation that fits my skin color let alone receiving the "perfect" color from a sub box, and I usually cant trade them, due to that fact alone, with other people,  so it ends up being tossed out.

As you can see it vary dark for my skin, it almost has an orange undertone to it, which is suitable for people who just got a sun tan....other wise, its a nice cream.

Be a Bombshell - Lash Out Mascara - Black

If you've been reading my blog, than you already know that I'm not a fan of BAB. There products are very cheap, same goes with this mascara. There really OVER DOING IT, with putting there products into sub boxes.

Its very dry, and a very light black, which does nothing from my lashes... to describe it, CHEAP! Ive also heard some rumors that there might be A LOT of chemicals in this product, so please do your own research if you plan on using this.


Overall, I will only be using 3/5 of the products. Not worth 16.95$ CDN in my eyes.

Oh well, lets hope for a better month in July.

 I was pretty excited with my bag until I saw I didn't receive the body balm, but other than that I love my bag, literally the only thing besides the eyeshadow that I love is the bag itself. Its sooo cute & the material is very nice quality!!

  Here's what I received in Ipsy's May Glam Bag 2014.

Boo Boo Cover Up

 I'm very hesitant getting cover-ups , bb creams and foundations from sub boxes. My skin tone has a yellow undertone to it, and its very difficult to match. I know a lot of sub boxes sends out beige with a pink undertone, or a really dark color. 

Ok so I did some swatches, and not very happy.

 As you can see its very ORANGE. It does not have a pink nor yellow undertone... Its orange. I will def be swapping this with someone on MUT.

Ok so overall. I will only be using... What.. Ummm the eyeshadow duo, and the hair serum, because I don't use sunblock, I tan, Im not sure about the thermal spray, and definately will not be using the concealer. 

UPDATE - The Lovely "Tamarin" On MUT told me it was a body concealer not a face concealer.
Well than lol. But I still don't have an orange body tone lol.

So today I received my Ipsy Glam bag, and I must say I was sooo excited!!! Im in love with Urban Decay's 24/7 Eye pencils, and I was running out of my old one, so this came in perfect timing!

This month's theme is called "Beauty Rocks"

and by the items in the bag, it definately rocks!! If you have not signed up with Ipsy, its 16.95$ a month with shipping to Canada (Included) , and this Subscription is one of my fav's!

Demeter - Jasmine Roll On perfume oil
 

 So the first thing I got in my Ipsy Bag is Jasmine Roll on perfume Oil by Demeter. The scent is very strong so you only need a quick roll, nothing more, otherwise you will smell like an old lady wearing Avon perfume from the 80's, and you definately DO NOT want that!

I really like smell of this use a small quantity though. Its a great item, and Im soo happy I received it!

MaryKay at Play

Next up is – Mary Kay's @ Play Jelly Lip Gloss in the color “Teddy Bare”, cute name btw. Ok so this lipgloss is very very sticky, it has a very nice pigment to it which I like, and the color is a light pinky nude,  a light shimmer, its also very glossy and fun, it would look nice with a nude lipstick, definitely not one of my favorites, but its up there :)

Urban Decay's 24/7
 Glide On Eye Pencil

This is my Favorite item in my Ipsy Bag, Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil in the color “Black Velvet” this looks full size, so Im pretty happy with this! I got it just in time as I was running out of my other one. Its a matte velvety black color, and it stays on FOREVER!! It glides on smooth, and drys which is amazing because I've tried a lot of different black eyeliners, and they all wore off pretty quick. This definitely my go-to staple eyeliner, everyone should own this!

Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant

 Im sooooooooooo happy I was able to get the DR Brandt Microdermabrasion in my bag, because I reallly wanted to purchase this on Sephora but it was 90$, so this is pretty cool that I get to try it before I pay full price! Sooooo excited to try this tonight :) I will update my review on it as soon as I've finished using it 

The size of my sample is .25 Oz /7.5g  - decent size.

RainbowHoney NailPolish - "Midnight Fountain"

The color I received was “Midnight Fountain”

Ok so my first thought on this nail polish was that it looked “indie” don't get me wrong I LOVEE Indie polishes but this one brought me right back to grade 7/8. It brought back a lot of memories, was that a bad thing? No, a good thing? Yes.. It was nice, anyways I love love this polish, although I would have preferred a black or pink sparkle, but the blue is cute too boot and I wont be complaining about this. The packaging is adorable, and the quality is fabulous, obviously since it was Made in the USA! I will be purchasing from this company again soon.
