Decided to stop by the T&T Market in Ottawa because I've been craving some Japanese snacks.
I tried to find some Japanese snacks online, but shipping charges are pretty expensive, so I chanced my luck with T&T - and they had pretty much everything I was looking for. Pocky, and other treats.
The prices were pretty good there as well, way more cheaper than if I was to buy online + shipping fee's. In total I spent 68$ - there's a few more other things I purchased but I didn't include them in this blog haul because they were little sandwhich's that were already eaten by my daughter and fiance' by the time we made it home lol

I love Pocky, so I was excited to see that they released the almond crush at T&T - These ones are bit more expensive than your regular Pocky though, which was 5.49$ for three packs of 4 = 12 sticks. It's still a great price, for a unique treat.

I've been dying to get my hands on these. There called "Collon" by Glico. There's several other flavors but this one is called "Ice Cream Float Soda" - It's a wafer wrapped in a ice cream soda flavor. These things are loaded with sugar, so I could only have a few - but the taste is pretty unique, and it does taste pretty good, but I wouldn't suggest you eat these everyday lol

I'm a huge fan of Kracie "Poppin Cookin" DIY treat kits so I picked up the "Ice Cream Parlor" kit. I paid 5.99$ for this one. This one is selling for 6.99$-9.99$ online, which is pretty steep, so I'm glad I went to T&T before purchasing online. This kit is relatively easy. Mix some water with the sugar, and your done, you can than decorate the little cones are wafers. Fun stuff!!

Meiji is a pretty popular treat distributor In Japan. These are a "knock-off" from Pocky. - but I must say there yummy - there also much thicker than your regular Pocky, and there more crunchier. I definately enjoy these better than your traditional Pocky.

Caplico is another well known brand in Japan. This treat is called "Sweet Sand" - The center tastes like an aero bubble bar with chocolate and green tea, and on top is a green tea  wafer. Its delicious, and worth those extra calories lol.

Pocky just released a new flavor. Pocky Midi Taro Potatoe. These are sooo cute, and very yummy. The first bite my set your taste buds off a bit, but by the time it settles on your tongue the flavors start to settle. It's a very unique tasting treat.

Rose Petals are amazing for your digestive system. It also helps rid of bacteria's in your body.
These Rose petal drinks have an amazing aromatic scent to them, and they taste amazing. These are small cans, but well worth 2.49$ that I spent on each.

WARNING - Do not buy these unless you like very very hot wasabi. I didn't know that these would be that hot, but these are extremely hot. Not only are they hot but they taste disgusting. Ughhhh - bad idea purchasing these.

I'm a huge fan of Meiji's Melty Kiss and Melty Whips. The texture in these just melt in your mouth and the different flavors are exciting. I purchased Melty Kiss Soya Bean and Melty Kss regular Winter.

The melty kisses are individually wrapped and tiny little packs. My favorite is the Soya bean. I do wish they were a bit bigger but there's at least 16 pieces so that's ok. Each box was 4.99$ kind of steep. - These taste a bit like ZERO melts that you can by in dollar stores.

Strawberry Corn puffs are another one of my favorites that I purchase regularly from T&T. There's 230 Calories per bag, and they taste like strawberries plus the packaging is adorable. I paid 1.99$ for one bag.

Last purchase was these cute Pocky heart shaped strawberry sticks. The biscuit is shaped like a heart. I think these were released just in time for Valentines Day, which is pretty neat. They taste like your regular strawberry pocky sticks.

Overall I spent about 68$ CDN with Taxes (excluding a few other things I purchased that's not in this haul)
It's always fun trying new foreign treats to try out, especially at really good prices.

Fountain Beauty
Update

An update to my Fountain Beauty "The Beauty Molecule" that I purchased about 1 week ago.

After the third day of taking a teaspoon once a day, I started getting really bad back, and rib pain. I figured it might have been my posture, but the pain went on for the next 7 days. I was confused and the pain never left, and it only started after I started taking the daily doses of Fountain Beauty's molecule. I stopped taking the doses yesterday and low and be hold, the back and rib pain completely stopped. So it turns out I'm allergic to this stuff, not sure what as there's very few ingredients in it, but if you do allergies, be aware this may cause additional allergic reactions. I don't personally have any allergies, which was strange considering this molecule gave me a reaction.

As for any health benefits - nothing.
As for an "beauty" benefits - I did not see any results, except for the excruciating back and rib pain, which has now stopped (Thank God)

I don't recommend this product, and if you are still curious about it, be cautious. I wouldn't say its dangerous, but everyone's body reacts differently to certain things.

In the end, it's a waste of money, a cash grab, just eat healthy.

Homesense + Micheal's
Haul

Today I decided to stop by Homesense & Micheal's, I'm so glad I did.
There's still a huge clearance sale going on at both stores, which I was surprised by, because its almost the end of January. Everything here I paid in total 25$ DN with taxes.
The retail price if it was not on clearance would have been 80$ CDN so I saved 60$. Yay. Who doesn't love a bargain???

I picked up four (4) packs of feathers, embellished with cute little beads and spray painted in varies colors of gold, silver, rose gold and black. I do some scrap booking here and there, but just recently started getting back into it, so these would make a great addition to my collection of craft materials.
I paid 1.00$ each per pack at Micheal's.

I know Christmas is quite a while away, but I could not pass up this cute gift tag and card set. I purchased two (2) sets for 2.99$ each, regular 11.99$ per set. You can see why I had to purchase two (2) sets lol . I love the colors, and the materials are all high quality. No need to be running around this year for Christmas cards and tags, and spending gobs of money on cards I will never use. I also purchased these at Micheal's.

I paid 1$ for this chalkboard gift bag ONE DOLLAR - regular 4.99$ - how cute is this. It even comes with a piece of chalk lol - I love collecting cute and unique gift bags, I'm obsessed with gift bags and really nice quality wrapping paper.

Love ribbon, does not matter for what occasion, I love ribbon.
These are about 10 meter's long and about 5 inches thick. Retail price was 12.99 each and I paid 1.50$ each at Micheal's - Two black glittery rolls, and one white roll with silver embellished edges.I will be using these for my next craft/art projects and for wrapping gifts, for birthday's and special occasions. Love them.

At Home Barista Latte Paper cups I purchased at Homesense for 1.99$ for six (6) cups and lids.
These were regular 6.99$ CDN - These are so adorable, there cute for a little friend gathering at you're house, or cute to drink from when blogging at home, or for work. Ditch the Tim Horton's cup, these cuties are my new fav.

Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate - I had to toss this in my cart at the last minute before checking out.
I cannot pass up adorable packaging and chocolate. I paid 2$ for this bar, regular 5$ at Homesense.

and last but not least I completed my purchases with this striped pink glitter gift bag for 1$ - regular 4.99$

Overall a pretty good haul - Spending only 25$

BirchBox
January 2015

January's Birchbox was a cute little box, although I'm disappointed that I received
another Amika product.
I would have liked to seen the Tocca hand cream or the Folle De Joie Eau De Parfume, but I think those samples were very limited.
Together I spent 14.95$ with shipping.

Five (5) samples in January's Birchbox is pretty decent, considering most of these products have not been in any other Canadian subscription boxes. I don't know if Ipsy or Birchbox is better at the moment. I know Ipsy is 16$ CDN which is 2.00$ more than Birchbox, but I think Ipsy has more of a selection. I think Birchbox is good in it's own way because some of these products your would not normally receive here in Canada, which is what attracts me to BB.

Amika Dry Shampoo, I keep seeing Amika in every subscription box, and it's getting old. This is my first time however receiving their dry shampoo product. It smells nice, and it does the job.

I was actually kind of excited when I smelled the "Whish" Shave Cream - its smells likes blueberries. I myself have never had the opportunity to use a scented shaving cream before, which I think is kind of neat, because now I have an excuse to shave more often lol.

The hello body cream by Harvey Prince smells really good, almost like a mango or passion fruit, it's not to heavy which is nice, and leaves a light scent after application.

Model Co's Party Proof lipstick was a great little item they included in January's box. I've never owned a Model Co product before so this was nice. I received the a mauve color. It's nice, but it's more for blondes.

I have not tested out the Derma E Hydrating Night creme yet, but I know from previous items like the microdermabrasion scrub from Ipsy, was really good, and best of all Derma E does NO animal testing. Yay for that.

January's 2015 Birchbox was decent, nothing special, but decent. I will keep subscribing for a bit and see

Memebox
Global #18
(미미박스)
Wow -  I'm so impressed with Memebox's Global #18. Everything in this box is a hit, again Memebox' Global edition's are always the best because they always put in new products that have not appeared before in their other boxes. It's pretty much been a "monthly" box that you can pay in advanced for, but recently I have not seen a global #19 be released as of yet.

This box comes with eight (8) products, and three (3) of them are sample sized.
That's fine with me though, it was a great price @ 23$ +6.99$ shipping. I used some discount codes so it only came to about 18$ CDN.

CONTENTS:

1: Purederm Shower Jelly (6$) 100g -  Fine bubbles penetrate deep into skin, washing away oil, dirt and impurities, also leaving your skin with a subtle fragrance.

2: eChoice Hand Therapy - Sweet Rose (2$) 60g - Shea Butter nourishes hands and leaves them softer and suppler.

3: Puresmile Animal Point Pads -Guava (1$) 17mL -  Soothes, moisturizes, dry and trouble some on  your face and body , with hyaluronic acid , vitamin E and natto gum.

4: Touch By Lee Kyung Min Extreme Shield Master (46$) 2.2mL - A magical ampoule gives an instant moisture surge to dry and flaky skin.

5: Derma Lift Intensiderm Aqua Rich Cream 15mL x 3- Formulated to soothe and repair damaged skin, while giving your skin a moisture barrier.

6: Dr. MJ Bee Tox Control Cream (50$) 55mL - Bee venom, propolis extracts, tea tree leaf water, rosemary  extracts and calendula extracts help soothe, rejuvenate,  damaged skin from the environment, which helps retain moisture and nutrition.

This cute little shower jelly comes with a little packet of wipes? I think there little white wipes or napkins for the shower, anyways this stuff smells sooo good. I love scented stuff so this will be great for the shower. It smells of milk and florals?? maybe , I know its milk, but I cannot figure out the other scent, but it's really nice.

I didn't open this because I have sooooo many other face products to use before I open this. I received an ampoule from Dr MJ that I still have not used, and this is from the same line by Dr MJ. This will be exciting to try out.

Overall I'm pretty excited about this box, it has everything in it that I will use (once I finish all my other products that is lol )

Asos
Picked up a cute little bracelet from Asos when they were having there clearance going on after the holiday's. The clearance was for 70% off so in total I paid 22$ - regular 31.96$ with standard shipping to Canada for an Aldo Ripa Multi Strand Bracelet. It took about 1 1/2 weeks to get to from the UK. I think it's a gorgeous bracelet for the price, because Aldo is usually really expensive, especially there accessories, so this was a good find, and the quality is amazing.

The pictures really don't do this bracelet any justice. The quality is outstanding, the only thing you cannot do with it, is come in contact with liquids... *shifty eyes*
There's 9 strands of enbellishments, all high quality.

I think my favorite is the diamante strands on this, and the weaved metal. I wear a lot of bracelets all year round, so this immediately caught my eye

60% Metal, 20% Polyester, 10% Polyurethane, 10% Glass

Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.  22$ is a good little investment considering you can wear this with multiple clothing items, especially with a nice pair of jeans and a v neck shirt. Love Love Love. There's still some available for sale, so pick one up if you get a chance.

Fountain
Beauty

I've been "ooing and awwing" about this beauty molecule by Fountain Beauty for almost six (6) months now and I finally caved in and purchased it. Fountain Beauty is a company that created the beauty supplement that offers water- soluable  forms of proven health and beauty nutrients  in an easy to take liquid format. Fountain Beauty has several other beauty liquid's for not just beauty, but mental, and health as well. In total F.B has a total of nine (9) liquid formats and they all range from 24$ - 68$ CDN. They also have other products that you can check out. I purchased this one for 35$ CDN.

THE BEAUTY MOLECULE
"LOOK GOOD MOLECULE"

"The Beauty Molecule is a concentrated beauty supplement with Resveratrol and Hyaluronic Acid to promote health, youth and longevity."

RESVERATROL " Our formula contains a very high concentration (40mg/teaspoon) of Resveratrol, a natural phenol found in the skin of red grapes and in Japanese knotweed. Hundreds of studies have shown that Resveratrol offers the longevity effects of calorie restriction, is a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, and promotes normal cell division"

26,000 RED GRAPES Each teaspoon of Fountain – The Beauty Molecule contains as much Resveratrol as 26,000 red grapes

MOST BIOAVAILABLE, WATER-SOLUBLE Contains a first-ever water-soluble Resveratrol in a proprietary water matrix delivery system for maximum absorption in a base of vegan-friendly nutritional Hyaluronic Acid, nature's youth matrix.

VEGAN HYALURONIC ACID Our formula is a vegan-friendly source of pure food-grade  Hyaluronic Acid.

The directions are pretty standard. Digest once a day, until empty.

Xylitol is naturally occurring in many of the fruits and vegetables we eat on a daily basis. Once extracted and processed it yields a white, crystalline granule that can be used in any recipe that calls for sugar. It’s good for your teeth, stabilizes insulin and hormone levels, promotes good health and has none of the negative side effects of white sugar or artificial sweeteners. It contains only 2.4 calories per gram and is slowly absorbed as a complex carbohydrate. Xylitol looks like sugar, tastes like sugar, and is the same sweetness as sugar – making it the ideal natural sugar replacement.

Citric acid is a weak organic acid with the formula C₆H₈O₇. It is a natural preservative/conservative which occurs naturally in citrus fruits and is also used to add an acidic or sour taste to foods and drinks

Potassium sorbate is the potassium salt of sorbic acid, chemical formula CH₃CH=CH-CH=CH-CO₂K. It is a white salt that is very soluble in water. It is primarily used as a food preservative.

"Japanese Knotweed is an aggressive semi-woody perennial plant that is native to eastern Asia. In the 1800's it was introduced to North America as an ornamental species and also planted for erosion control. It has since spread throughout the United States and Canada. Japanese Knotweed is often mistaken for bamboo; however it is easily distinguished by its broad leaves and its ability to survive Ontario winters. Japanese Knotweed is especially persistent due to its vigorous root system, which can spread nearly 10 metres from the parent stem and grow through concrete and asphalt. This invader is very persistent and once it becomes established, is incredibly difficult to control."

Hmmmm lol - I hope these extracts don't invade my body.
I' mean it sounds creepy that these plants spread like wildflower, and than to have there extracts in something I will be ingesting daily, just kind of makes me wonder a bit. I know it's safe and tested, but I just would have never thought a "weed" would be in something I would drink.

Moment of truth..... The liquid is a very thin consistancy with a vibrant red color.
The taste is horrific... It taste like you're swallowing gasoline with lubricant... It's pretty intense.
I do hope I see results from taking this , because I've read other review's and they've said to have seen a dramatic difference in their skin, being plumper and more glowing.  I will update if I see any results.
I will be purchasing the rest of them to try them all out, and see if all or some prove results.
Could this be the new elixir of youth??

We shall see!!

Winter Essentials Masks

 (미미박스)

Memebox released a new mask box right before the holiday's and I'm sooooo glad I purchased it.
Winter Essentials Masks by Memebox is one of my favorite mask boxes that they have curated in a very long time. They added a lot of NEW and different mask packs and sheet masks, along with a patting water. With such a large variation of products, this definately makes up for the past boxes that were just horrible! Maybe it's a good thing Memebox has been releasing smaller amounts of boxes, so that they can concentrate on making each box amazing.

CONTENTS:

1: RIRE Patting Water "Lifting" 300mL (42$) - Works to balance skins PH levels, lifts away dead skin cells , enhances skin tones for a smoother complexion.

2: VELIEVE Girlish Masks 20mL x3ea (7$) -All natural ingredients works to help skin problems.

3: INOFACE Real Natural Pulp Essence Sheet Mask Collagen - 23mL (2$) - Works to soothe skin, moisturize, and firm.

4: LASSIE'EL Raspberry Age Defying Yogurt Massage Mask Packs  12g (6$) - Replenishes and relives dry skin which helps the appearance of wrinkles and sagging skin.

5: ESTHETIC HOUSE Collagen Jelly Mask Pack 100mL (13$) - Reduces the appearance of wrinkles, tightens, making your skin firmer and healthier.

6: PURE SMILE Jewerly Bubble Packs x2 (2$) - 40 kinds of vitamins and minerals helps tighten pores and deeply cleanses skin.

The VELIEVE Masks are so cute!! I love the little girl - I really do hope they are good though and can't wait to use them! Im' glad they added three (3) of them + The Inoface mask, which I'm really excited to try as well.

RIRE Patting Water (Tighten) is made with evening primrose extracts and it helps tighten skin. I'm all about skin tightening products so this is going to be loved!

When I first saw Lassie'els packaging for there masks I thought they were so adorable. It comes in a quality plastic box, with four (4) packs of product. This product helps with aging, and lord know's I ain't getting any younger, so these will be fun to test out as well :)

6$ for four (4) packs, is a great deal. There high quality and you can see that just in the packaging.

I've always been very leary to Collagen packs that contain pig fat... It just really scares me because I'm a huge animal advocate and knowing that an animal is in a product... I can't justify using it.. that's why I always try and buy stuff that has no animal products in.. I'm sure it's a great product, but just not for m.

I purchased 3 dozens of these Puresmile bubble packs a few months ago, yet have never used any of them so far. I love the packaging and I really do hope these don't disappoint.

Loveeeeeee the Winter Essentials Mask box by Memebox!! Let's hope they keep up with it :)

Little Lux is an independent business who makes children's necklaces. With Vogue in mind, these are not only for children but for adults who like to express there ambitions and love for there child hood memories. I myself adore Little Lux's line of necklaces, friendly and fun, with a lot of imagination.

" I started collecting vintage jewelry for our four-year old daughter a few years ago.  I knew there would be a time when she would want to play “dress up” while she danced her way to an imaginary costume ball.   Since neither of her dads wear jewelry, we searched thrift stores, antique stores, and asked friends and family for jewelry that they didn’t use.   Within just a few short months we had collected a treasure chest of amazing jewels.
Our daughter picked out the pieces she wanted to keep, and I decided to try my hand at crafting a one-of-a-kind necklace for a friend.   My daughter wanted to watch, and before I knew it, she was helping me create the necklace.  My first necklace was a huge success, and I decided to make more.  My daughter also showed a knack for making jewelry, so after dinner she and I worked on the necklaces together.   Using her fine motor skills, she learned how to tie knots, use pliers and tweezers as she developed a line of necklaces she sells during the summer at her lemonade stand.
….and that is how Gunner & Lux and Little Lux was born!"

This necklace is called "Wild & Free" embellished with a pink neon tassel, tassel rope and a darling white horse which retails for 23.99$ USD.
These necklaces look like art to me, and not just a simply accessory, which is why I think I'm attracted to them, except for the cute embellishments.

There are so many other collectible necklaces to choose from that you may get overwhelmed by cuteness :) - The prices range anywhere from 19.99 - 40.99$ USD and are all handmade with love.
These may not be that easy to find on the market, but can be found at Wrapped In Wishes, with not as much variation, but certainly in stock than other website out there.

This was my cute find of the day!!!

Laduree Paris has teamed up with Sonny Angels from Japan to create a darling little Kewpie for Laduree's new launch of pasteries.
Sonny Angel is a character which said to be a boyfriend who will make you smile and feel at peace. These are available at Laduree Paris and other locations. You can also purchase the individual"Blind Boxes" with one mystery character in them for about 15-18$ - I've have found them for sale, the blind boxes but the shipping on them is outrageous, I might cave in and purchase one though so I can see it in full detail, because these Kewpie's are so darling.

These are the blind boxes floating around the internet currently, although they are very rare to get a hold of, its not impossible, unless you want to pay very expensive shipping on these cuties.
There's a  total of 13 designs, 12 normal designs and 1 secret design, sold in each box (not every blind box comes with a secret design)

Yummy!! These are the boxes these limited edition Sonny Angel dolls come with -The Macaroon boxes comes in 4 types, Patisserie Palme, Patisserie Blue, Patisserie Rose and Patisserie Macaroons and a cute little doll ?! YES PLEASE!

I will keep doing some more research on where to find these cuties, but currently it seems that the market is saturated with these only in Australia, in which they do not ship to North America.
Ill try Japan next but again, shipping from there can run up to 60$ for something this small..
Will updated if and when I order one.
