June 2014 Box

This was my last month of BeautyBox5 . I paid 12$ + free shipping to Canada. The reason why I cancelled is because there is a lot of repeats, and brands that I have received already from other beauty subscription boxes, and I figured, I was wasting 12$ on stuff I have already tried, such as this Nicka K New York Nail Polish "NY139"- I received this in an Ipsy Bag in the same color already.....Its a nice color, but I have two of these nail polishes now, and its a turn off to me, seeing recycled products in subscription boxes.

Vita Bath Body Wash (60mL)

Wild Red Cherry scent, its smells so yummy, that my daughter just finished using the whole bottle in her bath, I didn't even get to try it :( but it smelt amazing and its free of propylene glycol , mineral oils and silicon. "Made In China" So I'm 99% sure it was tested on animals :(

Organix Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner

x2 Sample packets, was in this month's box, and although I don't like receiving sample packets in subscription boxes, this was nice, because I've never tried Organix products before, but I'm allergic to coconuts, so I will definatley have to swap this unfortunately, or give it to my fiance' to use.

Nicka K New York Nail Color

As I mentioned before, I have already received this EXACT nail polish from Ipsy last year, so not much more to say about this.

Glam Natural Mascara (Black)

Wooo whoo another mascara, honestly, how many mascara's do you have laying around? Me?? around 20 mascara's. Whenever I see a beauty subscription box's throw in mascara's in there boxes, it just shows me that they really didn't curate there boxes properly that month... I mean... Ughhh no more mascara's!! lol. Please.

This is just a regular black mascara, nothing special.

MORE SAMPLE PACKETS. Yay? Sure.

I saw these advertised on Luxe/loose button in one of there Limited Edition Boxes this year, I never ordered that one specifically due to this product being in it, but I guess it was just mean't to be since I just received it in BB5 box . Lol?

These 4 packets come with 

a soothing refiner+ cleanser, replenishing scrub, a comforting mask and a soothing cream.

I will test these out tonight and report back!

So overall this month was just like the last month, and therefore I cancelled. I mean 12$ for BB5 is not bad, but its not good either, you get what you pay for though ;)

“10 Minute Box”

I really liked this box when I saw the spoilers on Makeuptalk.com, while others really disliked this box the most, but when I received this box a few days ago, I understood why most did not like this box. I'm still on the fence with it....

CONTENTS:

So Overall this box was just "Blah" I think what I really liked about this box was the packaging, before I even received it, but after receiving it, it was not as exciting. There was 2 perfumes, one roller ball and one powder puff body perfume... and than the hair perfume essence.. The only things that stands out was the lipstick, and the eyelashes. They could have not added 3 perfume products and added something different. Oh well, most of Memebox's box's are amazing value anyways, so there's no losing out on this box.

Its valued at 160$+ for 49$ CDN.

This box includes 11 products full sized and sample sized.

The only thing that interests me in this box is the GOSH powder pearls. It looks rather selective, and seems to be a good price for the products you receive, but nothing other than the pearls interest me.

I will have to pass on this box for!

This was my last month for GDE sub. I paid 29$ CDN with shipping for a two month subscription
 I really did enjoy getting this sub, but I will have to rethink if I want to subscribe in the future, there is only 120 spots open at a time, and some months there is spots, so you have to act quick to get a subscription.

I received this cute little GDE zip up pouch, with there logo. Its very adorable and will come in handy to put some makeup items in it :)

Innocent & Twisted Alchemy 

I was soo excited to swatch this, the packaging is cute, but its in a very small container.

 This color is called " Candied Violet" - It transforms from a blackish grey, into a navy blue when applied, its gorgeous!

I will definately have to purchase some of Innocent & Twisted Alchemy's pigments very soon. These are amazing. I've never experienced a pigment such as this one.

*UPDATE* There store is currently under maintenance.. No word when it will be up an running.

GDE "Prime Suspect"


I was a little hesitant with this color, as I'm not very fond of bright eyeshadow pigments, but when I swatched it, it was not as bright as I though it was going to be, which is great.

I had to swatch it on my finger because it wouldn't show up on my arm as much.
It's a redish color with some pink and blue undertones. Its actually pretty cute! but not my go-to eyeshadow.

Overall there was less products, but great quality! and I love the little pouch they added to this month's. I will probably re-subscribe in the future, because it's really worth the money you spend.

My first impression of June 2014's Ipsy Bag, I'm pretty excited. I was hoping for the mauve NYX lip gloss but that's ok, but I got the green eyeliner instead of the blue which I'm really happy about :) Blue does not go well with my skin tone.
 So overall very very pleased with this month!!


Here's what I received.


Nicka K New York 
Shimmer Eyeliner  - Green

I'm in love with this color! Its the perfect green for light green eyes, and it has a bit of shimmer in it, with a nice fine tipped brush.

It glides on smooth, and it dries very quick, and it takes a bit too come off, so if your worried about it running, it wont be a problem!

NYX Butter Gloss - Eclair

I really enjoy NYX lip glosses, this color does not really suite me and I was really hoping for the Crème Brulee color :( oh well at least there not expensive.

Its very a light pink, you would need to apply a good amount for the color to show up.

Eat your heart out Victoria's Secret! - Seriously have you ever seen those VS model hair on the beach?!!! I want hair like that lol,but come on, thats never going to happen because I don't have a hair crew of 14 and makeup crew of 20 and 100,000$ lighting to make me look that good.

Oh well, guess this bottle will have to do! - It smells AMAZING!  I will update my review on this after Ive tested it out

DD Cream 
Dermatologically Defining BB Cream With SPF 30

I never like receiving BB creams or foundation samples in sub boxes due to the colors I usually receive. I have a hard time in store's getting the perfect BB cream and foundation that fits my skin color let alone receiving the "perfect" color from a sub box, and I usually cant trade them, due to that fact alone, with other people,  so it ends up being tossed out.

As you can see it vary dark for my skin, it almost has an orange undertone to it, which is suitable for people who just got a sun tan....other wise, its a nice cream.

Be a Bombshell - Lash Out Mascara - Black

If you've been reading my blog, than you already know that I'm not a fan of BAB. There products are very cheap, same goes with this mascara. There really OVER DOING IT, with putting there products into sub boxes.

Its very dry, and a very light black, which does nothing from my lashes... to describe it, CHEAP! Ive also heard some rumors that there might be A LOT of chemicals in this product, so please do your own research if you plan on using this.


Overall, I will only be using 3/5 of the products. Not worth 16.95$ CDN in my eyes.

Oh well, lets hope for a better month in July.

Mini Haul

This is my LAST and final Imomoko purchase. I ordered this before I did my last haul from them, so this is not a recent purchase, Ive just been waiting for this to arrive. Every time I order from this "company" I get charged customs, but that's not all, they are lying on the UPS customs forms with the price I paid for the items. This purchase was 2$ I only paid 2$ of my own money for this because I received a 64$ credit from my previous purchase due to some errors, therefore I paid 2$ and still got charged 15$ customs, because they said I paid 32$ for this order, but if they actually were putting the CORRECT price down with the credit I had it should had been 67$, but they didn't, they lied and said 32$ and got charged 15$ AGAIN. They were also very rude to me via email, which was a big turn off! I will NEVER shop there again.

Anyways I paid 2$ for these items.

Too Cool for School - Dinoplatz Eyeshadow On Flatiron - (03 Bronze)

I'm totally obsessed with TCFS at the moment so I had to pick this item up. The packaging is adorable but it's very thin, and made out of thin paper, and if your a collector of the packaging, this wont last long. I almost ripped it while opening up the "box" besides that, its sooo adorable. The eyeshadow is a liquid jelly, it goes on wet and dries into a powder and it stays for HOURS!!

This is the side of the box, it has a little dinosaur walking on a building.

 The Liquid eyeshadow comes in a 7g tube.

This dries instantly after applied, but it dries long enough in order to spread out evenly. Its really nice, and its very hard to rub off. I really enjoy this product and will purchase the other two colors, Lavender and Peach.

I ordered these because there from Jill Stuart, and I really needed some to use with my Mizon Toner, so Im glad I picked these up as I was running out and I heard that these are great quality.

The pads are soooo soft and really thick, very great quality.
